This is the crack on the left rear tailgate channel (where the tailgate strut sits). The next photo is after the repair.
The rear window trims also did not align with the "C pillar" trim and that was fixed. Before the fix, the trim on the rear door was higher than the piece on the C pillar. Notice the size of the gap on the left door vs the right door. 1980's American car quality?
